Hank and Maureen have opened a real comfort food restaurant in Clarkstown with an unusual menu that just continues to please.  The food is creative with items like duck, lamb, or surf & turf burgers, a BLT sandwich like none you have seen before, Pork and Mac sandwich, lobster Shepherd’s pie, steak, pork chops, salmon, salads, and so much more. They have daily specials five days a week; Macaroni Monday, Taco Tuesday, Wild game Wednesday, Oyster/Clam Thursday, and Sunday Slabs of Prime rib. There is also usually a nightly chef’s special. Last night was wild boar Ossobuco, unique and truly outstanding. If you plan ahead with a group of friends, Hank will prepare a Pig roast, clam bake, or whole lamb roast with advance notice. The vast selection of craft beers is sure to please the most discriminating hops lover. Drop on by and I’m sure you will not be disappointed.
