Nyack Loves Hudson Valley Shakespeare

It's that time of year again...the brochure for the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival has arrived announcing it's 2014 season.
It runs from June 10-August 31. The featured plays are Othello, Two Gentlemen of Verona, and The Liar.
The plays are located on the grounds of Boscobel House and Gardens, in Garrison, NY.
Bring a picnic because the grounds open 2 hours prior to the the performance. We always go with a group of our friends and bring yummy snacks, salads, little sandwiches, wine, and dessert. Some people bring elaborate white tableclothes, candleabras, and dishes. Others bring take out and paper goods. This year you can order a gourmet picnic online to pick up at the event.

The plays are always high quality with 1st rate performances in a gorgeous, natural setting overlooking the Hudson River.
For more information go to hvshakespeare.org or call 845-265-9575.
Enjoy!
