First Snow Blankets Historic Tappan

  Just in time for the holiday season, the first significant snow came to our small share of the metropolitan area.  It gives enough cover to turn lawns wintry, but (so far) has left the roads clear- a boon to the folks, including my wife, who feel the urge to continue their Christmas shopping sprees.  It's also a reminder for me to get the snow blower out of storage and into the garage, where it will sit gassed up and ready for the first real winter storm.
