Located in the beautiful river town of Garrison, NY,  Boscobel House is a great place to visit during the fall and winter seasons.  On September 8, they are hosting a big band concert and sunset picnic on their gorgeous grounds overlooking the Hudson River.  Attendees can pack and enjoy a picnic dinner, sit back and relax to the sounds of a 20-piece Big Band orchestra.  They band will feature Count Basie,  Duke Ellington and more.  There will also be swing dance demonstrations by the Fred Astaire Dance Studio in Wappingers, NY. The gates open at 5 pm and the event is from 6 pm to 8 pm.  Tickets are limited and are $16 per adult.   Children 10 and under are free.  Since the event is all outdoors, there is a rain date of September 15th.

This is really a gorgeous place inside and out with a very interesting history.  It's equally as beautiful in the winter!  You can tour the house and so much more....
