Rockland Roots Kitchen Opening In Valley Cottage
Since 2013, the Rockland Roots food truck has been bringing fresh, locally grown foods to various locations around Rockland, Westchester and Bergen counties. You may have seen chef/owner Brian Holbach and his brightly colored truck at local events, festivals or possibly at the Nyack Field Club or the Palisades Pool Club. Brian strives to bring an organic, non-gmo, "farm to table" concept to his customers. His business has been steadily growing and recently expanding into film catering, weddings, corporate events, snack bar management, and now, set to open very soon, the brick and mortar Rockland Roots Kitchen at the old Hub and Spoke deli location near the south entrance to Rockland Lake.
Brian plans on serving breakfast and lunch from around 8am to 3pm. The Rockland Roots Kitchen will have several tables and offer grab and go salads, smoothies, and now with his new smoker, he'll be offering smoked short ribs and whole local chicken. In addition, you'll be able to pick up some fresh baked goods and of course some good coffee.
It's a great pitstop for those hungry travelers on Route 9W. There aren't many food options in the area so he should do very well with all those colorful cyclists and Rockland Lake visitors. It will be the Valley Cottage version of the The Market/ Filling Station in Palisades. Brian is looking for some good help so if you're intrested in joining his new venture, reach out to him at email@example.com.
Spread the word and look out for his grand opening this Spring.
