Vertigo is now Harbor Hill

Well it's been close to two years since we've seen any activity at the now defunct Vertigo night club on Main Street in Nyack. However, I happened to be walking by yesterday and noticed a new sign going up and that they changed the name to Harbor Hill. I peeked in and saw that they are totally renovating the interior....adding a new center bar, and redesigning the layout. The property has been a major topic of Nyack conversation regarding Main Street businesses and what's going on with the downtown. After a multi-million dollar renovation of the property, Vertigo was going strong for a while as a high end night club and restaurant. However, they closed their doors after a couple of years and put the building on the market. A "For Sale" sign hung from the 2nd floor balcony for at least a year or so....the price was around $2.8 million. I am not sure if the property sold, however, it appears that they have a new business starting up and hopefully they will be more successful than the short lived Vertigo. Good luck to Harbor Hill..... I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing the finished product.
